This video was about different slang words in Japanese and what they mean and how they are used. Through this video, I learned that some words can be turned into slang words by adding "ru" to nouns or onomatope. One thing I found interesting was that the a lot of the slang words sounded like English words and their meaning in Japanese matched with the meaning in English. For example, "daburu" sounds like "double" in English and in Japanese it essentially means twice/to get something twice which is what double means in English. Some other examples were "guguru" (to Google) and "toraburu" (to get into or cause trouble). I didn't realize how many Japanese slang words, or words in general, are derived from English words and I thought that was pretty cool to see.

日本語のビデオ
This video was about the host interviewing people in Japan to find out what makes them happy. I noticed that all of the responses were grouped together based on the answers, and it was interesting to see what some of the common answers were. The most common answer seemed to be that people felt happy when they were with their loved ones which I think is very sweet and true. It was especially cute to see younger children say their loved ones make them happy because when you are young, it is easier to say things like toys or materialistic things make you happy. The second most common answer seemed to be about eating good food which I thought was pretty funny but also quite true. Overall, I agreed with every answer given in the video as everything that was said are things that I feel make me happy.
